What Actually Makes G-Shock Shock-Resistant
The core design principle is a hollow structure, the module sits suspended inside the case rather than mounted directly to it, absorbing impact before it reaches the internal components. Later models added Carbon Core Guard construction, using carbon fibre-reinforced resin for the case itself, which is lighter and stronger than the original all-resin design.
